David (Davie) Duncan founded Scotglass in 1993, the realisation of his dream to set up his own business. Starting off as a one-man band, Davie's determination, business acumen and foresight, saw Scotglass grow year on year, into the successful business it is today, now boasting a team of eleven.
Sadly Davie passed away in June this year and although this caused great sadness - the dream lives on.
Determined to uphold Davie's wish that Scotglass continue, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Nicol as General Manager.
Jim's main focus will be to continue David's legacy and grow and develop Scotglass even further.
We welcome him to the team and wish him all the best for the future.

One man's vision combined with team skills at Scotglass saw our 2008 Mercedes Vito Sport up-cycled from daily workhorse to a high specification, bespoke camper/day van worthy of the Mercedes badge.
What started out as a standard Mercedes Vito Sport introduced to our fleet in May 2008 initially underwent a seat conversion to a 4 seat layout but still allowing adequate load-space. After serving it's time in our fleet it began the next stage in its evolution into the day van we see today. The attention to detail and finish through out the project shows the standard of workmanship and vision customers can expect from Scotglass.
Listed below are some of the upgrades you will find in the van, but to truly appreciate the quality and finish you really need to see it up close.

Friday saw our fitters put their high calibre skills to the test when they were assessed as part of the SVQ Level 2 in automotive glazing under the watchful eye of John Tyler of the Independent Windscreen Academy. This is will be an ongoing assessment which will lead to all our fitters being recognised for their high standard of work practices and skills.
This is just another recognition of the quality service we provide to our customer base.
Our ATA/SVQ qualified staff assures you, the customer, that our working practices comply with the levels that BSI set for equipment, repair methods, staff training and materials used.
